Question

Voltmeter reading Volt (V) Ammeter reading Current (mA) 0 0 Completed 0.8 Completed 5.1 Completed 1.8 Completed 11.7 Completed 2.8 Completed 18.0 Completed 3.8 Completed 24.7 Completed 4.8 Completed 29.4
The next step is to do a voltage (V) versuscurrent (I) plot and find the slope which gives the resistance ofthe resistor. The plot should be a straight line passing throughthe origin. Find the slope by using linear regression and enter thevalue below. Note: The unit for the currents has to be in Ain order for the unit of the slope to be in ohm().

Need help in finding the correct slope.

Explanation / Answer

the easiest way to do it is in microsoft excel, just put the valuesin two columns then graph them in a xydispersion, then in the graphright click and click put regresion line, linear, and in the bottomit should say show equation, then slope = current
