You work for a company that builds large, commercial construction projects around the globe. You are the construction manager for a signature project in an internationally renowned city. One of the reasons your company was awarded the project was because of its successful record and continued commitment to using ethical hiring practices and subcontracting local companies. During construction on one of your signature projects, however, a newspaper with national circulation discovered that one of the local subcontractor companies working on the project has been hiring illegal immigrants. The project owner and their attorneys have already contacted your company, furious about the negative press they are receiving. Your company is also receiving calls from local and national media to respond to the story. Union workers are threatening a strike. Public scrutiny threatens to delay the project, but as the subcontractor is performing work on the critical path of the project, simply firing the contractor threatens progress as well.

As I am the construction manager of the project I should take responsibility of all the works that take place. They may be technical works ,financial works,safety of workers,ethical elements in the project,time management etc...

Always keep an eye on the sub contractors work process ,if any wrong takes place should act according to it and fastly in time that it should not affect the company in bad way. Problems should be solved in a way that it can't harm the economical and social aspects of the company.

first of all illegal immegrants should be removed from work. Heavy penalty for the sub contractor .agagreement from sub contractor that in future if such thing repeats he will be removed from the job.in this process work is stopped is for some days .to overcome it start work early as possible and appoint more workers on that particular site .to compansate the days loss.inform media about the action taken and apologize for the mistake and assure them in future such incidents will not happen.
