Question

(a) What is the tangential acceleration of a bug on the rim of a12.0 in. diameter disk if the diskmoves from rest to an angular speed of 75 revolutions per minute in 4.0 s?
1 m/s2
(b) When the disk is at its final speed, what is the tangentialvelocity of the bug?
2 m/s
(c) One second after the bug starts from rest, what is itstangential acceleration?
3 m/s2
What is its centripetal acceleration?
4 m/s2
What is its total acceleration?
5 m/s2
6° (relative to thetangential acceleration)

Im not getting the centripetal accel right and ppl were telling meit was r*(angular velocity)   that should be 12 in= .3048 m/ 2 = r = .1524m    (.1524)*(.299) right ithought answer A was the angular velocity. and then i dontunderstand the rest...can someone help me out i'll rate right away.thanks

Explanation / Answer

this is wrong...sorry
