a). What are p-type semiconductors? What are their differences comparing with n-type semiconductors?
b). Moore’s law predicts the rapid and steady growth in the number of transistors contained on a single microcircuit chip. Why do engineers want to increase the number of transistors contained on a single microcircuit chip?
c). Even through silicon is abundant on the earth. What is the key reason that silicon wafers are so expensive?
d). Based on the semiconductor introduction video, if the thickness of a semiconductor wafer is ___ _ floor height, the Integrated Circuits are build on the top ____ floor(s).

ANSWERS TO QUESTION #6 ONLY (Electrical Engineering Part)
a) Just like the N-Type Semiconductors the P-type semiconductors are extrinsic semiconductors where holes are the majority carriers. As the effective mass of a hole is greater than that of the electron then the mobility of the carriers is less in the P type semiconductor.
b) Engineers want to increase the number of transistors because they want to increase the capability of a single chip thereby increasing the fan-out of the chip.
c) Although Silicon is abundantly available on earth but to make it pure we need various methodologies that makes a Silicon chip costly.
d) Video Not Available
