B) Servo motor , DC motor.

A servomotor works on servomechanism, that is it works on closed loop feedback. A control signal and a feedback signal from the shaft of motor is fed to a decision making element which is usually an encoder. The decision making circuit produces signal to accurately control the position of motor. Hence servomotors control position in dicrete steps as decisons are made at regular insants. As compared to this DC motor has no feedback and it continues to rotate its shaft continiously as long as it gets required current.

Electromechanical system is a system that does the conversion of electrical to mechanical energy and vice versa.

Control unit is the unit, which is actually responsible for how a system behaves. If we change the configuration of control unit, it wil change the ways in which the system actually works. This causes flexiblity in the system. for e.g Control unit of a microprocessor may be wired in a particular way which causes longest instruction to execute say in 20 microseconds. If we rewire it in an alternative way, we can change the execution time.
