Firstly, if city has to be designed according to elements of biophilic designs, one thing must be taken into consideration that adequate ecology must be maintained to keep environment and air quality better. For this purpose, following options can be used:-
1. Roof-top gardens should be prepared in city by governing body of city on every government building. Also, on every private rooftop area, such gardening should be encouraged by same.
2. Space between two sides of roads and along sidewalks vegetation can be growed in whole city which will make city beautiful as well as balance with ecologically.
3. Fountain and lake oftenly makes cities more beautiful but also balances environmentally. It keeps vegetation in touch with city and also provides a different ecosystem.
4. Forest reserves works as respiratory systems for any metropolitan area if it is situated near to it. It must be preserved and if its not present, city planner must build such area in planning.
5. City building balconies can be used for growth of vegetation. Carbon credit points should be accommodated to every such home, and it must be regulated and such points should be redeemed by governing bodies for rehabitants.
6. Increased use of pervious concrete will increase ground water infiltration and hence increase vegetation in city, so it should be encouraged wherever is possible.
