Question
i just want to know if we use the slop to find the components, will the slop of force at c will be the same as slop to force at b ? i mean how we take slop if the forces if inclined & at diffrent trangle shape of other !
Explanation / Answer
Yes, slope at B and slope at c are same because members AB and BC are parallel and collinear. and both the loads are making right angle with the joints. So, slope must be same at both the points. If we take slopes to find the member forces, then we need to use trignometric properties. We should use tan Theta = opposite side/adjecent side. We know opposite side and adjecent sides as given in the figures. So, we can find the theta.
