ethics can be defined as the "the rules or values governing the conduct of a person or the members of a profession".
There has been a lot of discussion on ethics on a world wide basis in the last few years,most extensively in the media.It does appear that there has been a decline in ethical standards,especially in government.
surveying ethics is a member shall only undertake professinal responsibilities witth in their competance and shall encourage and develop risk averse professional activities.
Example of the ethics violation of a real world includes :when the surveyor doesnt follow ethics it images on public health and welfare as the real world follow thhe surveyor.
for example during construction of any structures or buildings usually the contractor and the owner follows the surveyor. usually the surveyor surveys all the information required for that purpose.
