Most people are exposed to PCBs by the intake of contaminated foods or through the air they brathe or even by skin contact.PCBs do not dissolve well in water and liquids and so the effect on health by drinking water is negligible.However sometimes it happens that the submersible pump operating in the wells that contain PCB oil if failed can leak into the well and contaminate the drinking water.
