Question
I am having trouble with the following two questions:1) If a car is traveling westward with a constant velocity of 20m/s, what is the net external force acting on it?
2) If a car is accelerating downhill under a net force of 3674N, what force must the brakes exert to cause the car to have aconstant velocity?
I know these are probably basic, but I can't seem to find away to come to the answer. I'm not sure if enough info was given inthe question.
Thanks in advance.

Explanation / Answer
You must remember Force = (Mass) (acceleration) then solve for for acceleration Force / Mass = Acceleration so for acceleration to be 0 and for it to have a constant Velocitythe net force must equal 0. Msg me if you need me to clear this up for you some more. Goodluck!
