(i) the distance of the submarin from blue Whale: 1.62*1500/2=1215 m (ii) after 1 min, the distance now is: d=1.32*1500/2=990 m => speed of the submarin: v=(1215-990)/60=3.75 m/s assumed that blue whale is stationary.
