          W =p(V2 -V1) = 3.1 x 101.3x103x1.6.x10-3

             = +502.448 J

(b) W done by the gas,

          W =p(V2 -V2) = 0

(c)W done by the gas,

          W =p(V1 -V2) = 1.8 x101.3x103x-2.6x10-3

             = -474.084 J

(d)W done by the gas,

          W =p(V1-V1) = 0

(e)Net work done by the gas,

       W = 502.448+0-474.084+ 0 = 28.364 J
