Resistance R = 12 ohm

Voltage V = 15 V

(a). equivalent resistance R ‘ = R + R + R = 3R = 36ohm

(b). current in each resistor I = V / R ‘

                                               = 0.4166 A

(c).. Equivalent resistance R “ = R / 3 = 4 ohm

Total current I ‘ = V / R “

                          = 3.75 A

Current in each resistor I “ = I ‘/ 3

                                           = 1.25 A
