Find the point where they're in equilibrium: N=cos()*mg Ns=sin()*mg cos()*mg*s=sin()*mg 0.58=tan() =30.11 The block will start sliding when the angle of inclination isgreater than 30.11 degrees Part b is similar, but the block is sliding; thus, the constant ofkinetic friction should be used instead. (The system is inequilibrium if ma =0 ) So, you can use the formula above and get: 0.40=tan() =21.8
