To avoid being caught they need to be asfar away as possible, so find max range R, neglecting airresistant show that the max distance to window is I am not sure which equations to use to derive this. Ihave tried several, such as the one for range and the y positionsolving for t but can't seem to come close to thegiven solution. Any suggestions would be a great help.

I'll try and solve this, but i'm not sure what d and R are in yourformula..... Is there any more data like the initial velocity ofthe balloon or the maximum force you are allowed to use ? Becauseotherwise i'd take the water-balloon and throw it at speeds of3x109 m/s and it wouldn't matter how far i was......
