Have a large slingshot that can shoot a water balloon over100m. The kids are trying to shoot a water balloon through a windowthat has a vertical height of h relative to the ground(where the slingshot is). To avoid being caught they need to be asfar away as possible, so find max range R, neglecting airresistant show that the max distance to window is I am not sure which equations to use to derive this. Ihave tried several, such as the one for range and the y positionsolving for t but can't seem to come close to thegiven solution. Any suggestions would be a great help.

I'll try and solve this, but i'm not sure what d and R are in yourformula..... Is there any more data like the initial velocity ofthe balloon or the maximum force you are allowed to use ? Becauseotherwise i'd take the water-balloon and throw it at speeds of3x109 m/s and it wouldn't matter how far i was......
