Florescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP) is a technique for tracking the florescent protein molecule movement in an area upon bleaching by laser light. In the given graph (A) and diagram (B) Ft shows membrane proteins before photobleaching. All the proteins onto which antibodies bound are fluoresce. Upon treatment with light on the given area all the proteins got destroyed as a result of it there was no florescence Fo shown by pale area. After some time, membrane recover from bleaching and proteins present in the nearby area diffuse to the bleached area which filled the pale area.
