Question
Problem Solving 9.55 9 of 37> tants Part A In each hand you hold a 0.13 kg peach What is the gravitational force exerted by one peach on the other when their separation is 0.28 m? Express your answer to two significant figures and include the appropriate units FValue Units Submit Request Answer Part B What is the gravitational force exerted by one peach on the other when their separation is 0.58 m? Express your answer to two significant figures and include the appropriate units FValue Units Submit uest AnswerExplanation / Answer
Solution-
From the Newton laws of gravitation
F = Gm1m2/r^2
here m 1 and m2 are the masses
r is the distance betwen them
so
F = 6.67 e-11 * 0.13 * 0.13/(0.28*0.28)
F = 1.44 *10^-11 N
b)
F = Gm1m2/r^2
here m 1 and m2 are the masses
r is the distance betwenn them
so
F = 6.67 e-11 * 0.13 * 0.13/(0.58*0.58)
F = 3.50 *10^-12 N
