One of your classmates gives the following incorrect response: "A guy is standing on top of a cliff. He jumps off the cliff into a lake. He swims across the lake and gets out on the other side." Explanation / Answer

This response is incorrect because if he jumps from top he must accelerate(with accelration = 9.8 m/s2 ) which means the slope of given graph (position vs time) must change with time .So, the graph must have a curved path somewhere in between which is no where to be found in the above mentioned graph.
