1. This vary parabolic with time, whereas in steady state distance vary linearly with time(In this case the amount of distance covered per unit time will first decrease and then increase. In other words there will be a curve in this case while in steady state case the graph is straight line.)
2. Sign of the velocity. If the car has positive value of velocity than car is going up and if negative value than car is coming down.
3. Slowing Down: Slope of velocity. (if value is approaching to zero)
Speeding Up: Magnitude of slope of velocity. (if value is going away from zero)
A constant velocity graph will have zero slope and will not change with time. Whereas in this case velocity will change with time.
4. Acceleration will remain constant.
5. By taking slope of that graph.
6. Taking the corresponding value on acceleration representing axis.
