Note: If you already answered the question allow someone else to answer it, I'm getting different answers. Thanks!

Part 2 (bonus): Please answer the following questions about the circuit that's shown. To receive full credit please show complete, clear and connect work for each part. Answers, even correct, without correct work will earn few points, answers, even correct, with no work will earn no points. Box your answers or use the answer blanks. Don't forget the correct units. 2kQ. 4.5V -L 1. Find the total resistance of the circuit

Explanation / Answer

2 and 2 ohms are in series = 2+2 = 4k ohm

4 and 2 ohm are in parallel = 2*4/6 = 1.33 kohm

1.33 and 8 k ohm are in series = 8+1.33 = 9.33 k ohm

9.33 and 7 k ohm are in [paralle = 9.33*7/16.33 = 3.99 k ohm

3.99 and 5 k ohm are in series

so R tot = 5+3.99 = 8.99 k ohm

from ohms lawe

v = iR

i = 4.5/8.99*10^3 = 0.5 mA

in series i same across the ressitors

so current for 5 k ohm and 3.99 k ohm are same that is 0.5 mA
