My topic for a 4 - 6 page essay (with calculations required) is how mud walls (similar to the Walls of Jericho from the biblical story) could be knocked down using only the force of acoustics/sound. It is for a calculus course but will require alot of physics. I understand I will be calculating the physical force sound waves apply to objects and how mcuh force is required to take down the wall, but I am stuck. How would I go about doing these things and what else should I include to make this essay good? Anything specifcally relating to accoustics (the walls were supposdley knocked down by horns)

Sound is a pressure wave, where the air pressure oscillates about the mean pressure of the medium(like air).The mud wall will take immense amount of pressures to be knocked down, and such pressures cannot be generated by horns alone.If somehow the sound waves from different sources could constructively interfere, then they might create enough pressure amplitude to knock a mud wall.

I think that synchronous in-phase horns placed in a spherical formation so as to constructively intefere at the mud wall , might knock that wall down.
