*BACKGROUND*: had 2 sets of cups (aerobic vs anaerobic) with 5 different amounts of water in each set:
aerobic: 0 mL, 4 mL, 8 mL, 16 mL, 64 mL

anaerobic: 0 mL, 4 mL, 8 mL, 16 mL, 64 mL

results: generally the results show that the anaerobic cups weighed less than their respective aerobic cup after the experiment was over (Approx 2 weeks)

1. Write a hypothesis about the expected results relating oxygen to decomposition rate

2. How did the presence of air in the grass cups affect the degree of

   decomposition?

3. If there were differences in decomposition between the dry, and different

   amounts of water cups decomposition bags, what do you think caused the

   differences?

2)air present in the water in the form of oxygen effect the grass cups during decomposition.

3)it all the amount of water present in the cups is responsible for difference in decomposition.

4)decomposition of aerobic cup is less when compared to the anaerobic cup. This is due to the difference in the water levels

5)decomposition rate affects the eco system by as it is balanced by environmental conditions like evaporation, etc.
