PLEASE ONLY ANSWER THIS QUESTION IF YOU PLAN TO INCLUDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
1.) All conversions shown, example: 72degrees F= ____degrees C, using formula: Tc= (5/9) *(Tf-32)
2.) Detailed Step by Step process of how you came to your solution. (For this question your solution must be in centimeters(cm) so please show how you converted from meters to centimeters in your solution.
3.) PLEASE include ALL formulas used, and show which variable you are solving for. example: P=m/v to solve for P; P is density, m= mass (in Kg), v= volume (in mL)
PLEASE PLEASE FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE!!

QUESTION#1.) THQ#9 READS: A building made with a steel structure is 650m high on winter day when the temperature is 0 degrees F. How much taller (in cm) is the building when it is 100degrees F? (The linear expansion coefficient for steel is 11 x 10^-6(C)
Explanation / Answer
L = original length = 650 m
Ti = initial temperature = 0 F = (0 - 32 )*5/9 = - 17.8 degree celcius
Tf = final temperature = 100 F = 37.8 degree celcius
lpha = linear expansion coefficient = 11 x 10-6
L' = new length
using the formula
L' = L + L lpha (Tf - Ti)
L' = 650 + 650 (11 x 10-6) (37.8 - (-17.8))
L' = 650.4 m
