1. It means safegaurding the interest and existence of historic appeareances of the society.

Everything from buidings, landcape, books or anything which can give an attachment to past and ought to be inportant are preserved now a days.

Preservation means keeping things in more of its original position. Now rehabiliton of historic places who have been shreded has also taken place. Restoration and reconstruction of the monument is important.

The preservation of historic monuments depends on the concept that what will the cost and future significance of doing so.

The features which have affected the most are the cost and value that is attached in the process and its inportance. People are now even saving memories in the form of books or any other way for future. They are not targeting millions of year nut they surely want to preserve for furture generations.

In 19 century it was more of monumental but things have changes since then.
