Mass of Tritium = Mt
Mass of helium = Mhe
Mass of neutron = Mn
To find the expression for energy released Using E = mc^2
Here m is called mass defect and m = mass of reactant - mass of product.
=> m = ( Md + Mt) - ( Mhe + Mn)
So final expression for energy released would be
=> E = ((Md + Mt) - (Mhe + Mn)) c^2
