Calculate the maximum current flowing through the circuit. 4. Suppose the dielectric material is now removed with only air left between the plates. Calculate the new capacitance 5. Suppose the dielectric material is removed while the capacitor is fully charged and switch S is closed. Describe any changes in the circuit 6. 6) Imax = V/R

V --> V is the potential diffrence across the battery

R is the resistance of the resistor.

so, clearly Imax does not depend on Capacitance in the ckt.

so, there is no effect on maximum current in the circuit.
