12. a) According to theory of special relativity, all physics laws are same in all inertial frames and talks about frame of reference, constant speed of light and relative motion. While theory of general relativity talks about the spacetime curves and effects of gravity on spacetime curves. basically talks about gravitational forces of heavy bodies in space.
13. d) For a thermonuclear weapon to work, first some energy is needed to fuse the atoms together and hence this initial energy is generated using fission reactions. And so for thermonuclear weapon both is needed fissionable as well as fusionable materials (critical mass is needed in both cases).
14. e) Through Michelson Morley experiment it was proved that ether does not exist. Since the interferometer showed no difference in the speed of light through two paths and so it was established that ether does not exist. If any difference was measured, ether theory would have been true. But the results were negative.
15. a) According to the twin paradox the age of the person who traveled with the speed of light will be younger than the one who stayed.
