Left click on ‘International Statistics’, under the ‘People’ heading.

Just for “kicks”, click on the World POPClock and take a look at the numbers. Go backwards one page and left click on ‘International database’ link.

Click on the tab ‘data’ under the International Programs heading. Then, click on the World Population Summary heading, then the World Population link. On the left, there is another World Population link, click it. Take a look at the graph; World Population: 1950-2050’ click the graph and answer the following questions.

(1). According to this graph, in what approximate year will the human population on planet Earth reach 8 billion people?

(2). Is that graph a guarantee of things to come? Why or why not.

(3). On a different graph on the same page, under the heading of Human Population Growth Rate: 1950-2050, a marked drop in the growth rate is already occurring as of year 2002. Theorize why this is happening.

(4). According to the Annual World Population Change graph at the bottom of that page, a significant decline is already started and expected to continue for many years. This trend is possibly correlated with the Human Population Growth Rate graph…theorize how.

2.Population growth rrate refers to changing size of the populartion which may be either negative or posative over a given period of time, it depends on balance of both births and deaths in given a period. If there are more numbers of deaths, the world's population will increase at slow rate or even decline slowly therefore growth is measured in both absolute growth and relative growth

the graph depends on both the factors soo it wont be able to guarantee that the graph will be accurate for a given time but it will aproximately in that range.

3. the decline in growth rate from 2002 depends on various factors such as low birth rate and increase number of death rate and some natural disaster that hit during the year 2002
