a)The box intially has potential energy which gets converted to the kinetic energy of the spring at the end.

x = sqrt (2 m g h/k)

x = sqrt (2 x 3 x 9.8 x 5/200) = 1.21m

The force that the box will experince is Hook's force,

F = kx = 200 x 1.21 = 242 N

F = ma => a = F/m = 242/3 = 80.67 m/s^2
