Question
For two circuits using identical light bulbs do series or parallel circuits draw more current value t-value 2 x 100%) to compare difference (p) Use percent you measured to the combination of LA and la. If you have more than a 10% difference, please consult your lab instructor. 131 diff TA Question 20: (2pts) For two circuits using two identical light bulbs, do series or parallel circuits draw more current? Why? Parallel circuits caraw more current Since the curcent becomes branched and the comes ether the end Question 21: (2pts True or false: The current gets used up through a circuit? Explain your P a g e 122 Simple Circuits PHY 1104Explanation / Answer
When two bulbs are in series, their ressistence will be double (Assume ressistance R and same emf V)
So I1 =V/2R ----------------(1)
When parallel , their total ressistance will be R*R/R+R=R2/2R=R/2
thus, I2=V/(R/2) =2V/R ------------(2)
DIVIDE BOTH
I1/I2=(V/2R)/(2V/R)=1/2
OR I2=I1*2
THUS CURRENT IN PARRALEL DOUBLE THAN SERIES.
