An independent blind comparison was made with a gold standard for diagnosis of genetic disease among 200 individuals a population of high-risk individuals. sensitivity is: (true positive)/(true positive + false negative) which is 70%, so exclude A specificity is: (true negative)/(true negative + false positive) which is 120/180 giving 80% the answer is B positive predictive value is (true positive)/(true positive + false positive) which gives 35/65 which is not 80%--further confirming answer b. furthermore, answer d would involve some serious calculus limbo which i doubt the testwriter cares to perform ;).
