=> k * 1.5/(0.014 - x)2 = k * 2.1/(0.014 + x)2

=> 1.5/(0.014 - x)2 = 2.1/(0.014 + x)2

=>   1.2247/(0.014 - x) = 1.449/(0.014 + x)

=>   0.0171 + 1.2247x = 0.0203 - 1.449x

=> x = 1.197 * 10-3 m

Thus, the distance on the x-axis from the origin at which the electric field will be zero = 1.197 * 10-3 m
