hence speed will be same. ( direction will be different only. initially above the horizontal and finally below the horizontal)

v= 16 m/s

(b) in vertical,

displacement = 0 ( same vertical position)

initial velocity = 16 sin49

Applying d = ut + a t^2 / 2

0 = 16 sin49 t - 9.8 t^2 /2

t = 2 x 16 x sin49 / 9.8 = 2.46 sec


(c) h = (v cos49) t

h = 16 x cos49 x 2.46 = 25.8 m
