Explanation / Answer

Weight of metal bracelet in air W = 0.117 N

Weight of metal bracelet in water W ' = 0.088 N

Specific gravity of metal = W /(W - W ')

                                   = 0.117 /(0.117 -0.088)

                                  = 1.426

Density of metal = Specific gravity of metal x density of water at 4 o C

                        = 1.426 x1000 kg/m 3

                        = 1426 kg/m 3
