If we compare the two, we get that length of intestinal cell =
25 x 10-6/10 x 10-9 times thickness of plasma membrane
i.e. length of intestinal cell = 2.5 x 103 or 2500 times thickness of plasma membrane
(or) thickness of plasma membrane = 0.4 x 10-3 times the length of intestinal cell.
