Means ts.e. are shown (n 5). WS-like genotypes were not observed in the negative control (shaken microcosms under normal and low O2 conditions) (data not shown).

Explanation / Answer

After excluding day 0, normal and low O2 level 4 static microcosms and 4 higher O2 level at the A-L( air-liquid) interface microcosms require for four days incubation, because WS like genotype were detectable after 24 for both condition and each day incubated microcosms would be distructivaly cultivated for KB culture so four days require total 8 microcosms.

So the answer will be 8 microcosms.
