1) Primary foods that !kung eat mainly consists of meat , fruits, nuts and other plant products...!kung prefer to munch upon mongongo fruit and nut...Other plant food that they eat comprises of Baobab, ivory palm, wild orange, marula ,tsin beans, water melons and berries..

2) Generally women collect plant foods and water for their family and men usually hunt...Women take care of children and prepare food...However these gender roles are not strict...

3) Firstly transhumance is a type of nomadism in which there is a seasonal movement of livestock between higher pastures in summer and lower valleys in winter...Transhumance is derived from word Trans= across and humus=ground...

Forced sedentism will negatively effect on these people ...as they will be forced to graze their livestock on a limited pastures for a longer-term which will effect their yield and livelihoods of these people....
