Explanation / Answer

Ans 1) LUCA (The Last Universal Common Ancestor) is a modern type or consortium which consists of replicating and membrane surrounding particles. The LUCA is also known to have sodium energetic. It is known that LUCA was originated from inorganic molecule and is ancestral to the groups of archae, bacteria and eukaryotes. LUCA is known as the ancestor of our descendent and is the single cell which is made up of myriad of constituents. The cell is able to metabolize and replicate. One of the strong evidence that everyone is descended from a single cell is the presence of the old genes which are shared by all forms of life on Earth. LUCA is a form of abiotic genesis where the non-living molecules became living molecules and it is found that Earth have evolved from LUCA. It is known to exists since around 4 billion years ago in form of a microbe that led to formation of everything else.

Ans 2) According to a hypothesis, the eukaryotic cell came into existence from a symbiotic association of prokaryotes through the process of endosymbiosis. The endosymbiotic hypothesis for the origin of the eukaryotic cell dates back from the discovery of the mitochondria and chloroplasts. The oldest fossil of the eukaryotic cell dates back to approximately 1.5 billion years ago and evolved through the combination of multiple prokaryotes.

Ans 3) Types of sexual selection:-
