Six months later, he traveled to Bolivia and developed the same infection after being bitten again. If antibody analysis were performed, the following results would be expected. (8 points total) Total Ab Same Antigen Antigen Time a. The green curve represents which antibody isotype? The yellow curve represents which antibody b. As shown by the curves above, why is the antibody response after second exposure to the same c. As shown by the curves above, why is the antibody response after exposure to the same antigen isotype? (2 points) antigen faster than the primary exposure? (1 point) the second time so much larger? (1 point)

Explanation / Answer

A- Green (dark) color represent IgM and yellow IgG antibody .

B_ Due to presence of memory cell the memory of first encounter present so this memory help in quick response to same antigen at 2 time .

C- second response in mainly given by Ig G production in huge amount IgM is very less and they produce quickly having nearly no lag phase.

D- due to vaccination sensitization have taken place so now primary response on graph will be absent only second response will be present.

E- No change in chart because preformed antibody have given 4 yr back so there is no role at present and they do not create memory also ..That graph will be same having primary and secondary response.
