Question A small iron ball and a large plastic ball are shown sealed inside a container filled with air; as shown in the figure below. In the presence of the air, the small iron ball and the large plastic ball will balance each other. Write a UQAWA to qualitatively explain: 1) Why this balance exists. 2) What would happen if the air were removed from the container. Elaborate on these answers and give thorough explanation. http://myspace.pc.edu/rarts/public_html/courses/physics/223/UQAWA/UQAWA%204%20-%20Fall%202015%20-%20Air%20vs%20No%20Air.pdf https://www.google.com/search?q=a+small+iron+ball+and+a+large+plastic&biw=1391&bih=656&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwizqYGs9s_JAhXJ4SYKHd-aAcIQ_AUIBygC#imgrc=Zwq0ebpFTJskrM%3A

Explanation / Answer

if both are of same mass or different mass , are inside a sealed container of air inside so that force per unit area is same at every point(PAscal's principle), means the force/area exerted by plastic ball (large in size) will equally distrubutes and they balance each other.

2.if air removed creating a vacuum so that the mass is same again balances
