Pressure = F/A
F1/A1 = F2/A2
P/12.1 = 11851/250
P = 573.6 N
b)
Increase in GPE = m*g*h
= 11851*1
= 11851 J
c)
Volume compressed at left end = volume incrreased at right end
A1*d1 = A2*d2
12.1*d = 250*1
d= 20.7 m
d)
Work done = Force* d
= 573.6*20.7
= 11851 J
