Answer 1 - A hypothesis is a question that you can test or form a model on. Sure, it's hard to form a model on clouds, but maybe you could use something different? I know! I'll use an example from a topic of last year's Science Fair! Here's the question-
What liquid will make grass grow the fastest?
Here's a guess- I think water will make it grow the fastest.
Here's a hypothesis- Water will make grass grow the fastest because it is the traditional liquid used to water plants and is filled with minerals needed for plant life.
then, all you have to do is test it and see whether you are wrong or right.
Answer 2 - A theory has been proven. A hypothesis simply an educated guess notyet tested. Also because a hypothesis is just a guess, but a theorycan be proved and was proven at one point in time. A theory can be a guess or an idea supported by facts. A hypothesisis an educated guess that is waiting to be tweeked or proven.
Answer 3a - we do not know in which environment the milk spoils. hypothesis : i predict that the milk will spoil faster in the heat, and slower in the refrigerator.
Answer 3b - experiment : i want to see how long milk can last and how fast it spoils. It may last for a week or two or maybe the milk will last for two days if i leave it in the heat. If i leave the milk in the refrigerator it may last longer, this fact i will try and prove right.
First i got the three cartons of milk. i placed one in the refrigerator, another in the sun, and one more was placed outside, but in a shaded area. i waited and recorded data for four days. After these four days i tallied up the results and created a conclusion.
observation :
3 different cartons of milk were stationed in different places. They were placed there for four consecutive days.
Carton 1: stationed in the fridge. unaffected
Carton 2: stationed in the shade. affected and seemed to be oddly colored
Carton 3: stationed in the sun. affected and seemed to be thick

An independent variable is the variable that is changed or controlled in a scientific experiment to test the effects on the dependent variable.
A dependent variable is the variable being tested and measured in a scientific experiment.
In our experiment - the independent variable is the cartons of milk stationed in the fridge as it does not get effected.
and the dependent variables is the carton of milk stationed outside in the sun, as the effects can be seen clearly
Answer3d - in this experiment the carton of milk placed outside in the shade, as the effects were already minimized when placed in the shade
Answer 3e - nothing like scientific equipment is required but a few kitchen utensils is needed like a spoon, or hand blender, a bowl and a carton of milk ofcourse. and it will be simply used after the experiment is conducted, the affected milk is poured into the bowl and is observed with the help of spoon or blender.
Answer 4 - Spectrophotometer can easily achieve color transferring , and be used as a precision instrument for color matching system.The spectrophotometric method was applied to samples of milk to determine the lactose content with previous estimation of the conditions for quantitative determination. The experiments were undertaken on milk serum samples of different pH values, temperatures, and storage times. The results of the investigations show that the first procedure for obtaining milk serum was the most suitable one for applying the spectrophotometric method and that the pH value, temperature, and time of storage did not influence the method and its ability to accurately determine the lactose content.
