What units does the "length" of the rectangle have? What units does the "height" of the rectangle have? What units does the area under the curve have? a) Area under the curve = Area of the highlighted rectangle = mg * (hf - ho) = mgh = U

b) In SI system, unit of the 'length' of the rectangle is meter (m). Unit of the 'height' of the rectangle is kg-ms-2 or Newton (N). Unit of the area under the curve is kg-m2s-2 or Joule (J).
