In Series Connection, Same Current Flows through the device, Voltage across device depends on the Resistance of the device. Total voltage across the circuit is the sum of the voltages across each component.
In Parallel Connection, the voltage across each of the components is the same, and the total current is the sum of the currents through each component.
b)
We have Parallel connection of devices in Household.
Reason -
In Series if any of the device fails or becomes faulty, the circut would become incomplete and all the devices would stop working.
In Parallel there is no relation btw two devices, if any device beomes faulty the rest would not be affected and continue working perfectly.
So we use Parallel connection.

We can clearly see the connection is in series the same current flows through both the devices , As Bulb A is Faulty , No Current will flow through the circut Therefore Bulb B will not at all Glow.
3)
Here we can clearly see the connection is in parallel, So Bulb A Burns out but it won't have any effect on the Bulb B , due to parallel connection, therefore
Bulb B will Glow with the same Brightness.
