A)   The initial kinetic energy of the ball Ek = (1/2)mv^2 will convert completely into gravitational potential energy at the top of its flight so,

E=0.5*0.5*35*35=306.25J

B) maximum height reached by the stone

Well since you are given 2 variables, the initial velocity and final velocity which is 0 (implied the fact that at maximum height, the final velocity will be 0), you should use the formula Vf ^2 = Vi ^2 + 2as
so:

0^2 = 35^2 + 2(-9.8)s
-1225 = -19.6s

s = 62.5 m

C) what impulse given to the stone when it was thrown

imulse= change in momentum=mass*velocity=0.5*35=17.5kg-m/s
