Question

An explination would be greatly appriciated thanks

In each case, a permanent magnet is moving toward a circular wire loop that is fixed in place. All of the wire loops are identical, hut (he wire in Case D has a small gap. The magnets are all identical, hut they are approaching the loops at different speeds and with different poles facing the loops. At the instant shown, all of the magnets are the same distance from the wire loops. Rank the magnitude of the repulsive force on the loop by the approaching magnet at the instant shown

Explanation / Answer

here,

Magnatic force is directly proportional to velocity of magnet, and magantic fiedl is inversely proportional to velocity of magnate.

F = q*V*B*SinTheta

When velocity is perpendicular to magnatic field then SinA = 90 = 1
Fmax = q*V*B

SO Case:
All will have Max force which is in order of greatest to lowest.

Force is directly proportional to Velocity,,charge is same,Filed is same

B > A > C > D

D will have no force since there will no induced current in it so no magnatic field which result in no force
