As the R, r in series therefore
Req = (2 + 1.1)
Req = 3.1 ohms

From ohm's Law,
V = current * Equivalent resistance
V = I * R

net curernt, I
In = V /Req
In = 4 /3.1
In = 1.29 A

V1- V2 is the potential drop by the resistance. R = 2 ohms
V12 = In*R
V12 = 1.29 * 2
