so,V_terminal = Vemf

= 12 volts

9) 11.25 volts

when switch is closed,

I = V_emf/Rnet

= 12/(1+15)

= 0.75 A

so, V_terminal = Vemf - I*r

= 12 - 0.75*1

= 11.25 volts
