Question

The resultant force acting on a camera tripod is 20 lbs. straight down (in the negative y-direction). F1 is as shown. The coordinate direction angles for F2 are = 45°, = 120°, and = 60°. F3 is directed along a line passing through the origin and (-2, -8, -3). Resolve the 20 lb. force into components along each of the three legs. Express each of the components in Cartesian vector form. Give the unit vector and coordinate direction angles for the F1. Is the tripod stable with the legs in these positions? Why or why not?

Please help on this question I do not even know where to begin.

Explanation / Answer
