(6 points) If Mendel then crossed the F1 plants, what proportion of the progeny would have yellow seeds, ellow pods, purple flowers, wrinkled seeds, and short stems? B.Explanation / Answer
A. If plant -A and plant -B are crossed then phenotype of F1 plant is round seeds, green seeds, green pods, purple flowers and short stems phenotype. Because round, green ,purple is dominant, while tall is dominant of short but here no tall stem plant, so phenotype of F1 plant is remain short .
B. Now if mendal crossed F1 plant then proportion of yellow seeds, yellow pods, purple flowers, wrinkled seeds and short stems are as below according to punnett square method.
3:16- will be wrinkled seeds, purple flowers, yellow pods, yellow seeds
